Artistic Director/Producer

Sharon Bajer is an actress, director playwright, acting teacher and Manitoba’s first certified Intimacy Coordinator for Film and Television. A graduate of Vancouver’s Studio 58 and The Stratford Festival of Canada’s Michael Langham Directing and International Masterclass Programs, Sharon has been creating professional theatre for over 25 years.

The Keep Theatre was inspired by the beautiful space at CFRUC where her acclaimed productions Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Catalpa and To the Country were developed.

Sharon has studied and created theatre across Canada as well as in Israel, Ireland, Denmark and Italy, building a lifetime of acting, writing and directing techniques that will be the foundation of everything The Keep Theatre is built on.


Daphne Finlayson

Company Manager

Daphne is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Film Studies. Her past work includes producing, directing, stage managing, and writing for various companies in Winnipeg. Past productions include work with the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Village Conservatory for Music Theatre, Sarasvti Productions, Black Hole Theatre Company, and several years with theWinnipeg Fringe Festival as a two-time finalist in their New Play Contest.
